Head Coach - Briston Lowry — Nippon Jiu Jitsu & Judo Black Belt, BJJ Brown Belt and Kick Boxing/MMA
Briston, coming from a family dedicated to the sport of boxing, was taught the art of boxing by his uncles at a very early age, not to mention his military fighting background as an Army Ranger serving three tours, once in Afghanistan, and twice in Iraq.
This is the home of the Unique Jiu-Jitsu instructor. Briston Lowry has trained with world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judoka practitioners, and Kick Boxers. He holds a black belt in both Nippon Jiu Jitsu & Judo and brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has learned from champions in Muay Thai/Kickboxing.
Briston realized that each style of martial art had its strength and weaknesses. So, he incorporated the strengths of each style to make a well-rounded martial art, “All American Jiu Jitsu”.
He is the head grappling coach for All American Jiu Jitsu Academy. All American Jiu Jitsu is a combination of Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, and Sambo.
We teach & train in both Gi and No-gi Submission Grappling. Learning in Gi teaches proper technique, while No-gi focuses more on attributes.
Briston has won many Championship Titles in Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, No-gi Submission Grappling, and Kickboxing.
Wrestling & Conditioning Coach - Scott Partington — Freestyle Wrestling, BJJ Blue Belt.
Scott, a gifted athlete, began his wrestling in high school during 1990 to 1993. In 1992 he was 1 of 15 chosen wrestlers to train in Russia at the Olympic Training Center by the World Class Russian Wrestlers. He won the Orange League Championships and continued wrestling after high school at Cypress College.
Scott became an All American Collegiate Wrestler, the highest Award given to a college wrestler
After graduating college, Scott became an Assistant Coach at Buena Park High School from 1997 to 1998.
He enjoys Hiking, Mountain Biking, Snow & Water Skiing, but Scott missed competing, so he decided to try Arm Wrestling, where he became 11 times California State Arm-wrestling Champion and 16 times World Amateur Arm-wrestling Champion.
After many accomplishments in Arm-wrestling, Scott’s desire for competition and for the love of the sport, he decided to get back into Wrestling/Grappling. Scott began training in Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Sambo, Wrestling/Grappling, and MMA.

- 2009 Grapplers Quest World Series No-Gi Championship — Gold Medalist.
- 2010 Grappling X Tuff Luv No-Gi Championship — Gold Medalist.
- 2010 Grapplers Quest UFC Fan Expo No-Gi Championship — Silver Medalist.
- 2010 NAGA West Coast Championship — Bronze Medalist.
- 2010 IBJJF World Nogi Championship — Bronze Medalist.
Kids Wrestling/Grappling Coach - Mike Kim — Judo Black Belt, BJJ Blue Belt, and Greco Roman Wrestling.
Mike was an Up and Comer high school wrestler, but due to a football knee injury, he missed the entire 1987 season and returned in 1988 and wrestled with a lingering knee injury and a broken ankle. Mike was awarded the Iron Man Award in 1988. As of today, he is the only person to receive the Iron Man Award in history of his high school.
He was an Undefeated Moore League Champion with record 16-0, 2x CIF Qualifier, 2x CIF Masters Qualifier, 1x California State Qualifier, Hachinohe, Aomori - Japan — Regional Greco Roman Wrestling Championship — Silver Medalist, U.S Jr. National Greco Roman Wrestling Championship — Bronze Medalist, and California State Greco Roman Wrestling Championship — Silver & Bronze Medalist.
Mike’s NCAA Wrestling was short lived due to the school deciding to get rid of the wrestling program, but his desire for competition, he continued with training in Greco Roman Wrestling.
After a major motorcycle accident at the age of 20, Mike’s injury was too severe and was no longer able to continue with wrestling.
Now, 20 years later, Mike is back. His desire for competition, he began his training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Sambo and MMA.
